Departments

Action: DEPT

Overview

Departments are used to group Sales Associates and Registers into logical groups for reporting. Several sales reports utilize departments, such as Sales by Category or Sales by SA. Departments are optional.

You can select a department for each SA on the Sales Associates form and/or a department for each Register.

Fields

Department...A code that represents the department.

Description...A short description of the department.
