eStyle Integration QOH Updates

A situation may arise when eStyle is not properly reflecting the shop's current SCW quantity available for sale (QOH).

For the QOH to update from ProfitSystem to eStyle, the following must be true.

  1. The Vendor on the ProfitSystem style needs to be linked to an eStyle vendor/line. They are linked when you download styles from eStyle, and you map each ProfitSystem vendor to an eStyle line. You can check if the vendor is linked by going to Vendor->Integration tab and looking for a number under eStyle ID

  2. Also, the color of the SCW must either appear in a color chart for the style, and that color chart entry must have a Sync code OR the color needs the close enough to a color on eStyle that eStyle can match the color name on the fly.

When styles are downloaded from eStyle a color chart is automatically linked to it and that color chart contains the correct color ID's. If new colors are added overtime or the color ID's change you can re-download the style code from eStyle and it will update the color chart based on the latest information from eStyle.

QOH updates are sent to eStyle in three places.

  • At sale time ProfitSystem first checks if the vendor for the style in question is linked to eStyle. If so, then it tries to look up the color being sold in the color chart linked to the style. If the color can't be found, or there is no color chart, then it tries to look up the color with eStyle. If either lookup succeeds, then it sends the QOH update to eStyle. It's logged under ESQOH as QOH Update.

  • Using the Update QOH on eStyle button on the Integration tab of the style ProfitSystem first checks if the vendor for the style in question is linked to eStyle. Then, it goes through each color in the color chart on the style. It zeros out the QOH on-hand on eStyle for each color. If there is no color chart then the zero process does not happen.

Then, it goes through each SCW and it tries to look up the color being sold in the color chart linked to the style. If the color can't be found, or there is no color chart, then it tries to look up the color with eStyle. If either lookup succeeds, then it sends the current QOH to eStyle.

  • Update eStyle QOH in Import data First, it zeros out all the QOH on eStyle. Then, for every style in ProfitSystem, it first first checks if the vendor for the style in question is linked to eStyle. If so, then it goes through each SCW and it tries to look up the color being sold in the color chart linked to the style. If the color can't be found, or there is no color chart, then it tries to look up the color with eStyle. If either lookup succeeds, then it sends the current QOH to eStyle.

BBL ProfitSystem offers a utility for the shop to use when the SCW color/sizes differ from the eStyle Charts. This interactive utility when ran, will stop on each style that is a mismatch and ask the user to select the correct Size/Color from the charts. ProfitSystem Multi-Store Consideration: By default the ProfitSystem updates the Quantity on Hand from a linked ProfitSystem style when it is sold or when the eStyle QOH sync utility is ran for the Register's store location. An eStyle setting is available on the Stores-> Integration tab -> One QOH? When checked this setting uploads the quantity for all stores.
