Class Not Registered Errors

These errors can occur when viewing a PDF or trying to view a ticket.

  1. First, try running ProfitSystem as an Administrator to see if it can re-register the components needed.

  2. If that doesn't work, manually re-register the component. The re-register command must be run as an Elevated or Adminisrator user in Windows. To open an elevated command prompt:

Hit Windows key, and type CMD When it displays "Command Prompt" App, right-click on it and choose Run as Administrator

  1. The regsvr32.exe command is used to re-register components. On 64 bit computers the regsvr32 command is stored in c:\windows\syswow64. So, on a 64bit machine, use

c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32 [path to component]

such as

c:\windows\syswow64\regsvr32 "c:\program files (x86)\profitsystem\msoutl32.ocx

If it’s email related * Chilkatmail2.dll * ChilkatImap.dll

If the error is occurring when they try to go to the word processor try these files. They may be in the ProfitSystem install folder, or the Windows System folder.
