Template file...Specifies an HTML template file that will be used for this style on the e-commerce site. The template file must already exist on BigCommerce.

E-comm URL...This is the full URL to the product after upload. This is created automatically after the product is uploaded.

Allow stock sales (no special orders)...Web sales can either be special order or stock sales. For special order sales, the size, color, and color 2 charts are used to create the options available to the customer on the e-commerce site. For stock sales, no options are available, and the actual size and color are included in the product description.

Additionally, the current QOH is uploaded with the product so if the item sells, it is no longer available. Checking this option indicates that this is a stock sale item. Otherwise, it's special order.

Send to e-commerce (set automatically by system)...This checkbox indicates that the style should be uploaded in the next batch. This is automatically set if the style is edited. Alternately, the Upload Style Now button can be used to upload the styles one at time.

Upload style now...Uploads the style immediately and clears the Send to e-commerce checkbox.

Price...If left blank or zero, Retail price 1 is sent to e-commerce. If -1, then the price is hidden on e-commerce and replaced by the phrase 'Call for pricing' Otherwise, this price is sent to e-commerce.

Style to send...E-commerce can show the store style code, or the vendor style code.

  1. Use Vendor Style means the vendor name and vendor style will be shown in the name, SKU, and added to the description. The store style is also added to the description. By default, the URL is based on the name, so the vendor style would appear in the URL.
  2. Use Store Style means that the store style is used instead. The vendor and store style appear in the name. The SKU still contains the vendor and vendor style. Only the store style is added to the description. By default, the URL is based on the name, so the store stylewould appear in the URL.

E-commerce description..This is the complete description of this style on e-commerce.. HTML formatting is available, and hyper-links to external pages can be included, for sizing charts or vendor pages, for example.

The merge code SizeColors should be included somewhere in the description. This code will be replaced with the sizes and colors that the item is available in.

For a stock sale item, it will be replaced with 'Available in size x, color y' for each size/color with at least one QOH. For example, if the style has quantity in size 8 and white, and size 6 and ivory, the merge code will be replaced with: 'Available in size 8, color white, size 6, color ivory' For a non-stock sale item, the code is replaced with all the sizes and colors in the size and color charts for the style. So, merge code will be replaced with something like: 'Sizes available: [00], 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22, 24, 26, 28, 30 Colors available: African Vi, American B, Amethyst, Apple Slic, Arctic, Aubergine, Buttercup, etc'

Categories..This allows the store operator to create broad categories on Big Commerce to group products (such as Neckline, Length) with sub-categories for each category and place inventory in those categories and subcategories. These categories are then automatically displayed here. Each category and sub-category has a checkbox. Categories and subcategories checked will be selected on the product when it's uploaded to Big Commerce. This option is only visible if 2. Assign BigCommerce categories to inventory is selected for Categories on the BigCommerce export form.
