Security
Many stores prefer to limit access to certain system features. This can be accomplished via the user role assigned to a User. There are three possible roles, each with specific security capabilities.
Any role can create/edit customers and ring up sales. See specifics below.
Owner... Owner is a Super User and can perform any function including. The owner username and password was automatically created when the service was purchased. It can be modified via Manage Users or clicking the Hello Username found on the top left portion of the menu.
- Owner (Includes authorizations the Operations Manager, Manager & Clerk Role have plus)
- Only one Owner user is allowed
- Does not counts as user for any store
- Owner user can float between stores by selecting store from drop down on main menu (in multi-store implementations)
- May purchase more stores and/or users
- Can create an authorized location for Users to Clock in or Out from.
- Can DELETE almost any data, such as inventory styles, customers, events, ticket/ledger transactions fittings and more
- May access eCommerce Store Setup fields
Operations Manager... Has authorization for Manager level and:
- Operations Manager (Authorizations Manager & Clerk roles have plus)
- Reports - Full Access. Can run reports for any store when in multi-store implementations
- Settings - Full Access for their assigned store
- May run all reports for all stores.
- Can modify/edit create/revenue dates dates on Sales Transactions/Adjustments & Payments
- Can see all Home screen alerts
- May DELETE a Shipping Request anytime
Manager... Has authorization for clerk level and:
- Manager (Authorizations Clerk Role has plus)
- Inventory - Full Access
- Purchase Orders - Full Access
- Reports - Sales by associate (Current Store/All Users), Event List, Marketing reports, Daily Report
- Timesheet (Current Store/All Users)
- Settings - Audit Trail, Employee Timesheets, Employee TO-DOs
- Reports for their assigned store only
- Change existing transactions on customer Sales Tickets/Ledgers, i.e. Payments, Refunds, Adjustments, Sales.
- Delete sales transactions
- Delete Payment Transactions
- Delete Purchase Orders
- View Cost on Sales Transactions
- Delete Inventory
Clerk... Has authorization for:
- Customer - Full Access
- Event - Full Access
- Inventory - In Stock List, Pickup List
- Personal TO-DO - Full Access
- Personal Timesheet - Full Access
- Limit Reports for their assigned store to - Payments report for current day only, Sales by associate (just for themselves), Register Journal, Customer Balance, Customer Ticket, Customer Pickup, Inventory Lookup, Appointment reports
- Time sheet (for themselves only)
- Create Edit Sales tickets
- Cannot see Inventory Replenishment or Automation Home screen alerts
