The System/Store set-up allows the customization of how ProfitSystem implements specific features. Set these options to best accommodate your store operational requirements.

Use comprehensive menu and toolbar?...The main user interface can either be a set of switchboards, or a comprehensive menu. The switchboards are panels with a large button for each function. They are better suited for touchscreen installations. The comprehensive menu is a large drop-down menu system at the top of the window that gives access to every function in the program. Overall, the menu makes program use easier.

Button 1-13...A toolbar with quick access buttons is displayed when using the comprehensive menu. This toolbar has up to 13 buttons, each of which can be customized to go directly to a specific form in the program, such as Customer, Event, Prospect, etc

If a button is set to None, the button will not be displayed. If all buttons are set to none, the toolbar itself is not displayed.

Desktop logo...A logo, in the form of a JPG type file can be displayed on the main desktop, behind the forms. If a JPG is selected, it should be placed in a location that is accessible to every workstation using the same path. For example, assume the logo file is located in C:\Documents on the main computer. If C:\Documents\logo.jpg is selected, the logo will only be displayed on the main computer. On any other computer. C:\Documents is a different location, local to that computer. The logo can be placed in the data folder (livedata) as this path is always available to all workstations.
