Top Sales Report

Action: RP_TOPSALES

This report lists the best selling styles, based on units sold or total price. Select category to see top styles across all vendors for that category. Select Vendor to see top styles of that vendor.

Use data to spot look trends and hot vendors.

Criteria

Select transactions...Only sales that fall within the date range specified will print. You must enter a date range. The date range can mean one of two things, depending on your selection:

  • Sold between xxx and yyy: Print items that were sold between the dates specified, regardless of when (or if) the revenue has been realized.
  • Revenue realized between xxx and yyy: Only print items where the revenue has been realized within the date range specified. On the cash accounting method, these options are identical.

Limit to category...You can limit the report to a specific category, if you like. Leave blank for all categories.

Limit to vendor...You can limit the report to a specific vendor, if you like. Leave blank for all vendors.

Only show items where the revenue has been realized?...This will only show items where the revenue has been realized.

Sort by...The options are Qty sold or Total price. The top selling styles will be computing using the measure selected.

Show top...Select how many styles to list. For example, selecting 10 will list the top 10 styles. The report will sometimes show more items than were selected, if two styles have the same total. For example, if only the top 2 styles are to be shown, but styles #1 & #2 both have the same units sold, the report will include style #3 since both styles #1 and #2 are the top selling style, and #3 was the 2nd best selling style.
