Check Availability
Knowing what inventory is available for new orders is critical during the sale process. This knowledge allows the consultant to direct the customer to the in-stock options.
To quickly check inventory levels the consultant should use the Check Availability function. Start the function by selecting it from the header drop down menu from the main switchboard or by simply pressing the F7 key on the keyboard. This will display the Check Availability form.
Enter the style code OR size code, assemble and back date OR use date (the system will compute the assemble & back date automatically from the USE DATE).
With multi-store or wholesale features enabled, a pickup store ID may be entered so the availability check can incorporate shipping in the inventory availability calculation.
The system will display within the grid the available inventory for the entered data once the Check Availability button is clicked.
