Bridal Live Import
Action: BLIMPORT
This utility is used to import data from BridalLive. This requires the 32-bit SQL Lite 3 ODBC driver to be installed first. The 32-bit version of the driver should be used on either a 32 or 64 bit computer. The drive is downloaded from http://www.ch-werner.de/sqliteodbc/
Getting Started
- Make sure the ProfitSystem data files are empty and from a fresh install.
- Install the 32-bit SQL Lite 3 ODBC driver.
- Use the lookup button to locate the bridallive.db file. It is usually located in C:\Users[username]\AppData\Roaming\com.bridallive.Retailer\Local Store.
- Then click Ok to import the data.
What is imported?
- The default ProfitSystem categories will be replaced with the BridalLive categories, except for ProfitSystem system required categories.
- A revenue account will be created for each category and added to the revenue report.
- All vendors will be removed except for Shop, and the BridalLive vendors will be imported.\
- All Categories are imported as Customer Types
- All How Heard options are imported as Customer Sources
- An event will be created for each BridalLive event.
- The BridalLive head contact for the event will be imported as the Bride in the ProfitSystem.
- The event members will be imported and linked to the event.
- Each sales order will be imported as a separate ticket.
- If the ticket final balance in the ProfitSystem is different from BridalLive (usually due to rounding errors), a BPSCONV adjustment will be added to the ticket to bring the balance in line with BridalLive.
- If a ticket contains a style that was deleted from the BridalLive inventory, the style will be replaced by the NOSKU style.
- Pending purchase orders will be imported, along with their line items. Both stock and special order PO's are imported. The PO must have a submitted date to be imported. If the submitted date is empty then the PO is not imported. The PO line items a re imported as un-issued PO items. BridalLive does not link the PO to an event, so the PO is linked to the event for the first customer on the PO.
- If a contact has no ticket in BridalLive, they will be imported as a prospect.
- The BridalLive inventory will be imported:
- Short Description 2 -> Description
- Long Description -> Comment 2
- When a customer is imported:
- Mobile phone -> Primary phone, or if Mobile is empty, then Home -> Primary. If both numbers are present, then the Home -> Alternate phone
- Category -> Customer Type
- How Heard -> Customer Source
- Walk-in, or quick sale tickets are also imported. They are not linked to an event.
