Update E Commerce Availability

ProfitSystem can store the vendor availability for a style in a specific size and color. This is stored as a number on the SCW form as "Ecomm avail".

This quantity can be set from availability files sent from certain vendors.

Set up ecommerce availability

  1. If you want availability for Johnathan Kayne, go to the vendor record for Johnathan Kayne and set the Smartlink Integrations Provider to JK
  2. If you want availability for Sydney's Closet, go to the vendor record for Sydney's Closet and set the Smartlink Integrations Provider to SC
  3. If you want availability for Faviana, go to the vendor record for Faviana and set the Smartlink Integrations Provider to FV
  4. If you want availability for Dave and Johnny, go to the vendor record for Dave and Johnny and set the Smartlink Integrations Provider to DJ

Update availability in ProfitSystem and on ecommerce

  1. Each time you receive files for these vendors, you should upload them to ProfitSystem.

    For Johnathan Kayne, upload the JohnathanKayneInvFeed.xlsx file from the vendor to the USER folder in your data folder.

    For Sydney's Closet, upload the SC_Inventory_Export.csv file from the vendor to the USER folder in your data folder.

    Faviana is downloaded automatically from a faviana text.txt file downloaded from https://retailer.faviana.com/inventory/text to the USER folder in your data folder.

    Dave and Johnny is downloaded automatically from a Inventory9_24_21.pdf.xls file downloaded from https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0727/3870/1585/files/Inventory9_24_21.pdf.xls to the USER folder in your data folder.

  2. Go to Inventory->Update E-Commerce Availability (menus) or Housekeeping->Update Ecomm Avail and click Update Availability.

    ProfitSystem will process the availability files for each vendor and update the Ecomm avail in retail inventory. It will also check the "Send to e-commerce?" for each style affected.

    It will then update the ecommerce store and send every item with "Send to e-commerce?" checked.

    Finally, it will uncheck "Send to e-commerce?" for every affected style.
