The look and feel and features offered may be easily altered as well, allowing a unique look and feel to each store. Also there is a large number of 3rd party applications that may be added to extend it's functionality/ Lastly there is a large network of support/enhancement programmers available that may be hired to implement very unique capabilities such as shipping, payment options and many others. - Set the Price on the ecommerce tab, or leave it blank. If it is blank, the Retail 1 price is used.
- Check the "Allow stock sales only?" option. This means only sizes/color in stock will be listed online.
- You can enter a page title, this will be used for the main name for this item. If you leave this blank, it will automatically use the vendor plus vendor style.
- You can enter search keywords and they will be added to the listing. These are not essential as the major search engines can index the item without them.
- Make sure you have one or more images on the Images tab.
- You can click "Upload Style, Replace Images" to upload the style to Shopify. This will delete the existing style on Shopify and re-upload it including images.
- Also, you can go to Shopify Bulk Upload to batch upload styles by category or vendor.
Procesing Ecommerce orders
When a eCommerce visitor makes a online purchase, the store is alerted to the purchase details, whereby the customer will be registered and the sale rung up in ProfuitSystem manually by a store operator. The SALE will be processed in everywhereBridal any other sale would be. The store would log into Shopify and update the Status of the order from Pending/New (online order statuses are configurable in Shopify) to In Process/Confirmed and to capture the payment (most shops do not process payment of initial ordering online. They wait until they know they can receive the merchandise in the time frame requested by the online customer). Once the order is Confirmed in Shopify, the online Customers credit Card is processed for payment in Shopify and that payment manually entered in ProfitSystem onto the Customers newly created ticket.
