Prom Dressing Room Control
The Prom Dressing Room Control form is used to easily manage customers moving in and out of the (RESOURCES) dressing rooms in a high-volume prom selling environment. The form's layout has been optimized for tablet viewing, but will work well on any other device type.
The form will only display PROM type Appointments. It allows a User to change the status of an Appointment, such as STARTING it, then assign an SA and a Resource to the appointment upon it being started.
The SAs must be must have a skill that is required to do a PROM type appointment. Additionally, the Resource selected must also be available for PROM type appointments.
To access the Dressing Room Control form from the Comprehensive menu, add Dressing to the toolbar from the System Setup form. The basic workflow is as follows:
- Click Dressing on the toolbar to access the form.
- Click the Show Waiting button to see who has arrived and is waiting.
- Select an appointment and click Start Appointment to start it.
- When the appointment is complete, select it and click Complete Appointment.
The central grid on the form shows active appointments, either where the customer is Arrived and waiting, or where the appointment has Started.
The Show Waiting, Show Started, and Waiting & Started buttons above the grid control which appointments are shown. The Type drop down allows the list of appointments to be filtered to a specific type. If left blank, then only appointments that start with PROM will be shown. The Page Up and Page Down buttons are used to flip between pages if more appointments are available than can be displayed. The Refresh button will make sure the grid displays the latest data. The grid normally refreshes itself automatically, but the refresh can be used if it seems to be lagging behind.
The Resource displays (if used) (Resource Displays are WEB/Internet connected devices with KIOSK browser, such as tablets that can be set to display & refresh a specific URL every few seconds) will update automatically as appointments are started and completed. However, an Update Resources button is available which will force all resource displays to be updated.
The form is designed to fit on-screen and work with a standard IPad.
