Inventory Size Analysis

Reports -> Retail Inventory -> Inventory Size Analysis

This report will list the sizes sold within the entered date range, limited to the store(s) and category(s) entered for the filter. It will also total on hand quantity in inventory for each size listed.

Enter single digit sizes as 02,04,06,08 , 08.5 ..etc in inventory and on sales transactions. This allows for a proper sort within the report.

The inventory quantity on hand count is the current actual inventory count and is not affected by the sales date range entered.

It is a great buying tool for departments/categories of items predominantly inventoried to sell from stock, like PROM dresses or MOBs. Knowing what sizes are selling the best and units still in inventory will help determine future buys.

Filters

Store ... Limit to inventory/sales located in the entered store codes.

Category ... Select one or more categories to limit report data to that category.

Start Sales Date - End Sales Date ... Analyze the sales transactions between the entered date range.

Run Report button ... Display report.

Export to Excel button ... This is a specially designed export to Microsoft compatible Excel spreadsheet format that is easily manipulated for analysis that a shop may wish to perform.
