Sales by Day

Reports -> Financial -> Sales by Date

Sales by Day report will provide the sales by date grouped by Day for the period entered for filter, in a Summary view or in a Detail view. It is a fast tool to see sales by day for a period such as week, month, quarter or year.

The report will show the total sales bookings for each day in Summary view. In Detail view it will show Sales by Date and include the customer transactions with ticket numbers that comprise the sales & payment totals.

The excel output includes the Users/Sales Associates responsible for the sale. The Excel export also contains size, color 1-3, and a stock or SO indicator.

Filters

Sales Date begin, end ... Limit to sales/payments/adjustments created between the entered dates.

Buttons

Export ... Export to Excel button (exports all detail). This includes the Users/Sales Associate assigned to each transaction.

Summary ... Execute report in Summary display showing totals by date.

Detail ... Execute report in Detail mode showing totals and each sale by ticket comprising report totals

Report columns

Sales Date ... Total of transaction for date

Transaction type ... (visible in detail view), i.e. Sale, Adjustments, Payment, Refund

Sales ... Totals to net sales. When ran in detail mode sale transactions are shown in original gross retail, adjustments are also listed and reduce sales total

Net Sales .. Sales transaction are listed at current net sale (gross retail less any adjustments applied)

Net Cost .. Cost of sale at the time the style was sold

Gross Margin ... Margin (calculation is: (net sale - net cost) / net sale price )

Payment .. list/total of payments for report period. Payments & Refunds are listed in the detail but grouped together by payment type

Ticket number ... Visible in detail mode and is ticket of each transaction

Customer First Last Name ... Customer linked to transaction

Event Name ... event linked to transaction (if any)

Created Date ... Date transaction was entered onto a ticket

Style ... Style sold on Sale transaction

Quantity .. QTY sold

Status .. Current status of transaction as of report run
