The Rental Process

EverywhereBridal provides a simple method to help with rental garment management. The system is designed to help the shop with maintaining critical rental information for rental event members.

The Rental Workflow

  1. First, set up Rental Size Charts and Rental Styles. If integrated with Jim's Formal wear, then the size charts and rental styles are imported automatically.
  2. Register an event and add rental event members.
  3. Print Rental Member registration report from Rental member Grid, as a recap of entered information with terms, so event managing customer, such as bride or groom, can see & approve member / style registry
  4. Customers do not need to part of an event to have Rental Orders. Create a rental order directly on a customer Ticket for customers that are not part of an event. Rental Orders are linked to tickets and a customer may have an unlimited number of tickets.
  5. For the rental order, enter measurements/sizes, rental styles, Use date (event date), TAKE date and To be Returned date on each rental order
  6. The Rental Order creates a price for the styles on the order. This price automatically is added to order's sales ticket via a SALES transaction using the RENTAL service style. A Damage Waiver Sales transaction may also be automatically added when the system is set to auto sale Damage Waivers for rental in Store Setup utilizing the DamageWaiver retail inventory service style.
  7. Take payments / deposits for the rental transactions
  8. Easily confirm rental orders containing Jim rental styles from the Order form by clicking Confirm with Jims button. If not integrated with Jim's, then orders are auto-confirmed at entry.
  9. Insure all register rental event members get their their payments and sizes in by running the Rental Order Status and/or Rental Members report
  10. Mark member order TAKEN via the Rental Order Taken function
  11. Mark member order RETURNED via Rental Return function
  12. Use the Event Rental Order Status Report to know what needs to be ordered in, who needs to be measured, and what members are wearing & who/what is late being returned.
  13. Use the Event Rental Revenue report as a production aid to know what styles are being rented or to locate specific styles chosen by event date range. This is a great tool when knowing what styles/sizes are committed to Customers for future dates
