Rental order Status

Statuses are assigned to a Order's rental styles automatically as information is entered on to the order.

Customer Rental Order's Rental Styles are assigned statuses as they are process thru the stages of a rental cycle. This is very helpful for Users to quickly know in what stage the rental order is and to insure it is properly being processed.

Statues are assigned to each order's rental styles. The order status will become the earliest status of all the styles entered on the rental order. For example. A order has 5 styles entered. All are confirmed, except one style is missing a size. The order's status as a result will be Missing Size.

Rental Order Statuses

  • Missing size = Sizes are missing from the order. The goal is to acquire all customer sizes ASAP once order is created. Run the Order List report for the status Missing Size to see all orders needing customer information.
  • UnConfirmed = Sizes are present, but confirmation date/number is missing, meaning order rental inventory is not reserved. Run the Order List report for the status Un-Confirmed to see all rental orders needing to ordered with the wholesaler.
  • Confirmed = Confirmation date/code is present, meaning rental inventory is reserved for the specific order
  • Taken = Order/Style have left the shop, taken by the customer
  • Returned = Order/Style have been returned by the customer
  • Lost = Item was marked Lost during the return
  • Canceled = Orders that were Canceled. These order stall appear within the system with an cancel status.

Note: Occasionally, A style on an Rental Order may had been exchanged for a different style or size. The statuses of any/all exchange orders for the originating rental order must be a Return status before the originating rental order status will become Return.
