Rental Styles
Rental -> Rental Styles inventory
When creating Customer Rental Orders, the styles entered on the order look to this file for validation and to obtain the additional needed information for the order, such as description, valid sizes and prices.
Any style to be added to a Customer's rental order must appear within these Rental Styles. This one form must include rental styles owned by the store and any third party wholesale styles sub-rented.
The Search grid appears where existing styles may be located for deletion or editing.
Search ... Enter a style, size chart or size to search for. Each column of search grid may be further filtered to limit results. See How to Utilize Column Searching topic for more information.
Discontinued checkbox... Limits data in search grid to those styles that have a discontinued date earlier than the current date, meaning they are discontinued.
Pull Button ... This function is utilized to refresh the Jim's rental styles, sizes and prices. See Jim's Rental Integration topic for more information.
Search button ... Executes the search on the the data entered in the Search box.
New Style button ... Adds a blank entry and displays the fields awaiting User entry.
Pictures of the styles will appear in the image column when image URLs exist on the rental style.
When a User hovers the mouse pointer over any style row, a tooltip instantly appears that contains the wholesale cost, description and discontinue date of the style.

Rental History ... Displays a list of orders where the style appears and totals orders: Month to date MTD, Year to date YTD and Lifetime LTD(Max) showing good analytics for the rental history.

Form Fields
Style code ... required. A unique code to identify a Rental style. Should try to use a smart coding system to make it easier for User's to locate a style in a style lookup grid. example for a Blue Sebastian tux coat you could do something like CT-SebastTuxBlue (CT indicates coat).
Tip: It is a good idea to distinguish Wholesaler styles by using a Wholesaler Code for the style when adding Rental Styles to the Rental Style inventory form. For example,
Jims Formalwear could be
JFW-910
Paul Morrell could be
PM-910
Users would use the appropriate Wholesaler style code on the Rental order based on source preference or style availability. User could then easily see a order and the source of the merchandise..
Item Type ... required. This indicates the kind of merchandise the style represents. Item types are maintained by BBL and match the Jim's item types for simplicity. Contact BBL to request any item type edits.
Size Chart ... required. Select an size chart to be assigned. Jim's size charts can be utilized for Non-Jim's styles, but be careful, since Jims may automatically change charts in future style updates. Alternatively create size charts in Rental Size Chart module for use on in-store styles or those from other rental wholesalers.
Discontinue Date ... The date the rental style will be discontinued. Automatically completed for Jim styles when a Rental Style Pull is performed.
Description ... A detailed description of the style
Tracking ...For Jim's styles and other wholesaler styles that the shop will be sub-renting, this field must be set to sub-rent. This setting determines how the system handles order confirmations. For shop styles that will be fulfilled internally use Tracked or Non-Tracked settings. In future rental production management versions of the system it will use this setting to know how to track inventory. Track will indicate each garment piece of the style owned will used bar-codes where non-tracked will not.
Rental Price with coat ... Rental orders may or may not contain a coat. If the order contains a Coat Style the with coat pricing will be used for the style's price on the order.
Rental Price without Coat ... This field will be the rental order style's price when the rental order does not contain a coat style
Note: Set prices in Jim's EZTux then perform a Pull. Prices will be automatically updated in EverywhereBridal/Prom/Retail during the pull process. If Jim's prices need to change, edit them in EZ-Tux pricing screen and perform another pull.
Cost ... The shop's replacement cost of the rental style. Must be set for all styles.
Retail Price ... This is the price charged a customer if the Style is not returned (LOST charge). Must be set for all styles
Up to 2 image urls may be copied onto the style record and when done, a thumbnail of the image will display. Images are displayed on Inventory search and order entry style look-ups
Image Url 1 & 2 ... Picture of the rental style. See the Help topic Retail Style Images for additional information about image options.
When a Rental style was imported from Jim's EZTux and message will appear to alert the user to that fact.
