Why use eStyle integration
An active eStyle eCommerce service must be in effect for an integration to be available. A valid eStyle provided Username and Password must be entered in Store Settings for the integration to be enabled.
The integration provides: * Inventory quantity on hand synchronization, from ProfitSystem to eStyle * Ability of all eStyle available vendor style information to pulled in/imported in to everywhereBridal
eStyle eCommerce and everywhereBridal each maintain a inventory database, each with size, color(s) and quantity on hand information because they are two separate cloud software applications. However, everywhereBridalis the keeper of the master/validated quantity on hand number for each vendor -style - size - color combination owned by the store.
So when a stock sale is created for a Customer, the everywhereBridal system inventory quantity on hand is decremented for that Vendor - Style -Size - Colors and with the integration also decremented on the same eStyle system Vendor - Style -Size - Colors, keeping them the same.
The key to the integration is the vendor code, vendor style, size and colors within ProfitSystem must match those found on eStyle. This allows for everywhereBridal to locate the correct eStyle entry to update the QOH. Every stock sale occurring within ProfitSystem will attempt to locate the matching vendor -style - size - color within the eStyle data so an quantity decrements/updates may occur.
It is important for eStyle online shoppers not to purchase, what they believe to be in stock merchandise, when in fact it is out of stock and not available. This is why the quantity on hand synchronization is so very important. Otherwise online shoppers will become unhappy. This is why the integration is needed.
The Vendor names/codes, vendor styles and sizes are easily matched, but often color names do not match between the two systems. For example in EB the color could had been entered as BLK and in eStyle it is BLACK. In these cases we will attempt a sound alike search when a User is selling an item from stock in the system and if that match is unsuccessful, then it will display a list of the colors for the vendor, style and size being sold and will let the User during the SALE select the color to update.
