Retail Inventory Functions

Inventory management is one of the most important functions of EverywhereBridal/Prom/Retail. Knowing what is in a store, how popular it is and how well it is selling is key information in managing your overall inventory investment.

Since inventory is money, the goal is to maintain or increase sales with the lowest possible inventory investment.

EverywhereBridal/Prom/Retail provides many tools to help achieve this goal. Some tools include:

  • Inventory Age tracking
  • Inventory depreciation
  • Accurate Style YTD and Lifetime Sales Statistics
  • Customer Favorite Tracking
  • Not Sold tracking
  • Inventory Listing Reports

There are three types of Inventories within EverywhereBridal/Prom/Retail:

1. Retail Inventory

Retail Inventory may be manually added (by clicking New Style button), or imported via CSV spreadsheet file or created by Issuing Stock Purchase Orders.

2. Pickup/Lay-a-Way inventory.

Pickup Inventory is created via a Sales Ticket by selling an inventory out of stock or by Receiving a Special Order item which was original sold via a Sales Ticket/Ledger with a Special Order status.

Use the Pickup / Lay-a-way Management Report Inventory Pickup, Mark & Pickup Taken feature to keep abreast of customer inventory.

3. Rental Styles

Rental styles are the Rental styles/codes and their details that are available to the create rental orders Only styles within the Rental Styles list may be entered onto Rental orders. These styles are manually entered or imported via Jim's ezTux online system. Imported Jim styles will be Jim's style codes and pricing for those styles will also be imported into the Rental styles list from ezTux. Once imported the store staff may edit as necessary.
