Start a New Physical

Inventory -> Physical Inventory -> Start a New Physical

Click the link to DELETE any previous physical counts and begin a new physical.

This process will erase any previous physical counts for the current logged in user's store and freeze current inventory quantity on hand in preparation to perform a new inventory physical count.

Once a Start a New Physical is completed, the inventory should be counted as quickly as possible. The store should not be selling or adding inventory to the inventory categories while they are being counted.

Once the count is complete the store can re-open & conduct business as normal. But to insure the most accurate physical count, the count should be applied to inventory as soon as possible.
