Reset Physical

Administration -> Reset Physical

This utility is used to revert inventory back to the quantity on hand that it was prior to the last physical count being applied.

This utility is only used in case of a User error. Such as the physical count being applied to the wrong categories of inventory.

This utility may be filtered to categories, so the user must select the SAME categories used in the applying of count that caused the error. Only those inventory items will be reset to the original quantity on hand. Original QOH is what it was prior to the Apply Count being ran.

Once the Reset is completed the Apply Count may be properly ran without performing a new count.

This utility relies on the Start New Physical function being ran prior to a count be applied. If a the Start New Physical was not ran and an old count was applied by accident, then this utility will not be of any value and should not be executed. Thus the physical will have to be redone.
