Bulk Inventory Editing

Inventory -> Retail Inventory -> Bulk Inventory Editing

This features easily allows users to edit existing inventory style/header information within a grid and inventory style QOH (quantity on hand/samples), similar to a spread sheet program like excel. The user would limit the items within the grid by using the filters. Then once the data appears, click within a cell to change the data of that cell. Once complete, click the SAVE button to make the changes permanent.

This is great for changing store style number, reorder costs size and color charts, colors, sizes, quantity on hand in a single page. This makes edits faster than visiting multiple inventory style pages.

Styles marked INACTIVE within the Inventory Edit form will not appear.

To edit QOH entries of a style, click the right pointing arrow icon next to the style. Remember to click Save button after each style's QOH edits.

Filters

Vendor ... Select one or more vendor(s) to limit grid data to those vendor(s).

Category ... Select one or more category(s) to limit grid data to those category(s).

Vendor Style ... Select one or more store style(s) to limit grid data to those store style(s).

Store Style ... Select one or more store style(s) to limit grid data to those store style(s).

Buttons

Search ... Click SEARCH to make the filters apply and the grid to match the filter values.

Once grid editing is complete please remember to click the SAVE button to make the changes permanent.

For each Style in the grid the user can modify the displayed wholesale reorder cost. When a new cost is entered, the entered value will be added to the inventory style.

A Retail 1 price for the edited style may be overwritten with a computed Retail Price when the computed Retail 1 price is higher, in which case the higher price will be inserted. The computed price is calculated using the entered reorder wholesale cost and the Retail Factor percentage found on the shop's Vendor entry for the category selected for import.
