How are Prom gowns sold to an event registered

EverywhereRetail allows items to be automatically Registered when sold to an event. Many stores utilize this feature to track dress styles and colors being sold to area Proms and Debutantes

Registering an item to an event is very simple. Follow these steps to accomplish:

• Insure on the Categories & Sub-Categories form the Track Event option is checked for the categories that the store wants to track and be Registered. Many stores track the Prom category only.
• Insure the proper Tracked categories are properly assigned to the inventory styles that should be tracked / registered
• Create Social or Prom events. For High Schools create new events for each year. Example West High School Prom 2015, West High School Prom 2016, ..etc
• Add members to the event and SALE the styles with the categories that are checked Track Event. The system will alert when same style & color is being sold to another event member
• To see what has been sold across all members within a single event, enter the Event and click Registered Styles link found in the top level menu.
• The list will show a image of the style when available in inventory, the vendor, vendor style and color sold to other event members.

Note: When tracking, in addition to seeing a list on the Register Sales Tab, the system will display a Sales alert on the event members sales ticket when the style being sold has been previously sold to another event member. However, cancelled Sales of styles assigned tracked categories will not trigger the duplicate sale alert when they were sold and subsequently cancelled.
