Appointment types are the kinds of appointments the shop would like to schedule and how much time each should be reserved for. For a Bridal store, examples are: * Bridal First time shopping - 90 minutes * Bridal Retry - 60 minutes

Confirmed appointment types may be assigned a color to appear on the Appointment Dashboard making it a simple glance for a user to see the types of appointments upcoming

This list of appointment types has a Delete button which will delete the Appointment type only if it is NOT in use on any Appointments or Room Schedules.

Fields

Name ... A short name or code.

Description ... A longer description of the appointment type

Minutes ... The standard/default amount of time provided a customer for this appointment

Color ... The color of the confirmed appointment type time block seen on the Appointment Dashboard calendar

Appointment can be booked through public form ... Utilizing the iFrame code snippet on a shop's website will allow any user to request an appointment. Only appointment types checked as Public will be available for web-visitors to request an appointment for.

Appointment type is inactive and cannot be booked ... Check to hide the Appointment type from Look-ups. New appointments will not be able to use this type.

Fee to book appointment. Requires Gravity Payments integration. ... The fee amount to book this appointment. When the customer books this appointment via the public form, it will tell them that the appointment requires a booking fee. If they book the appointment, it will send them an SMS message with a link to pay the booking fee.

Once the payment is made, the appointment will automatically be marked Confirmed. Additionally, a customer record will be automatically created for the appointment, and a ticket will be added with a sale of a Booking Fee, along with a payment transaction for the payment.

You can use the {Appointment Fee} merge code in email or SMS messages sent from the Appointment form. When the message is sent, it will replace the merge code with the URL for the customer to pay the booking fee.

Custom fields 1 through 4: These fields will be displayed on the public form for the customer to fill in as they are booking the appointment. The values entered are put into the Appointment notes, and are also transferred to the Customer notes.

Custom Fields Required (checkbox) ... When check the question must be answered during the appointment creation via the public web form before the appointment will be saved.
