Source types

Administration - > Setup-> Source Types

A Source Type is a user defined code to identify what marketing efforts pushed the customer into the store. Examples could be Directory listing, Social media, Ad, Referral etc. Codes may be created to represent these marketing efforts and assigned to the customer's profile when it is added to the system by a user.

Marketing Reports may use the Source Types entered on customer profiles for pulling out for marketing purposes.

Buttons

Add ... Displays a popup form where a new unique code may be added.

Edit ... Edits the Source Type on the same row.

Delete ... Deletes / Removes the Source Type on the same row.
