Customer Types

Administration -> Setup-> Customer Types

A Customer Type is a user defined code to segment customers into the opportunity each may represent. For a special occasion retail store customers may visit the store who are interested in purchasing MOB, or PROM or EVENING type merchandise. Codes may be created to represent these opportunities and assigned to the customer's profile when it is added to the system by a user.

Marketing Reports may use the Customer Types entered on customer profiles for pulling out by interest for marketing purposes.

Buttons

Add ... Displays a popup form where a new unique code may be added.

Edit ... Edits the Customer Type on the same row.

Delete ... Deletes / Removes the Customer Type on the same row.
